The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Irrigation exam on 30-12-2022 under category no 662/2022. Candidates who are interested in working as an Assistant Engineer (Civil) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹55200 – 115300/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 01-02-2023.
Candidates are advised to apply before the deadline, as the application process will not be accepted after the last date. The number of vacancies and other details regarding qualifications and eligibility will be provided below.

The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification
shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in
force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the
expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the
vacancies that may be reported to the Commission during the period of currency of the list.
Note:- 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled Candidates
with disabilities as specified vide G.O.(P)No. 7/2022/SJD dated 28.10.2022. (Please click the

| Qualifications | (i)Degree in Civil Engineering from any of the Universities
in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent
thereto.
OR
(ii) Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers in
India in Civil Engineering.
Note:- (1) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable for selection to this post.
(2)In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications
recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to the
qualification specified for the post, in the Special Rules or qualifications found acceptable
by the Commission since acceptance of equivalent qualification is provided for in the
Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower
qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the
Government orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and
when required by the Commission. |
