The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher -Hindi ( By transfer recruitment ) in Education exam on 30-12-2022 under category no 604/2022. Candidates who are interested in working as an Full Time Junior Language Teacher -Hindi ( By transfer recruitment ) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 35,600-75,400/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 01-02-2023.

Qualifications

1) A degree in Hindi conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
OR
A Title of Oriental Learning in Hindi awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
OR
Praveen of Dakshina Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha Madras with a pass in SSLC examination
conducted by the Commissioner for Govt. Examination, Kerala or its equivalent.
OR
Sahityacharya of Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass in SSLC Examination conducted by
the Commissioner for Govt. Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
OR
Rashtra Bhasha Visarad (RBV) of the Dakshin Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass
in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala
or its equivalent.
OR
A pass in Hindi Bhooshan Examination of the Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass in SSLC
examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its
equivalent.
2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test IV (KTET -IV) for this post conducted by
the Government of Kerala.
Exemption: i ) Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective
subjects and M.Ed are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated
30.08.16 and G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016).As per GO (P) No.15/2020/G.Edn
dated 09/10/2020 MEd which is prescibed as a substitute for KTET need not be subject
specific. Candidates who have acquired KTET Category III are exempted from acquiring KTET
Category IV [G.O.(Ms)No.109/22/GEDN dated. 24.06.2022]
ii) The Employees of the General Education Department who have entered in Service before
31.03.2012 and have completed the prescribed period of Service as Clerk,
Typist,Attender/Office Attendant are exempted from acquiring KTET qualification. GO (MS)
No. 134/2017/G. Edn. Dated 30.10.2017.
Note:
i) As per circular No. 1866829/J3/2017/Gen. Dated 09.03.2018 exemptions are given to those
who have passed CTET primary stage from KTET- Category- I and CTET Elementary stage
from KTET- Category- II . Based on the above condition , CTET will not be considered against
KTET- Category- III & IV .
ii) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in
Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala.
iii) Candidates should possess the minimum general educational qualification for the post viz, A
pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations,
Kerala or its equivalent (GO(MS)No. 232/2009/G.Edn. Dated 30.11.2009.)
iv) Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR will be applicable.
Note:- In addition to the qualification prescribed in the notification, the qualifications
recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a
qualification specified for a post, in the special rules or found acceptable by the Commission in
cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of

those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for
the post , shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring
equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the commission .
The candidate should have service not less than 5 years as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office
Attendant/Full Time Menial in the General Education Department as on the date of application.
