The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Non Vocational Teacher Mathematics (Senior) (Special Recruitment for SC/ST) in Kerala Vocational Higher Secondary Education exam on 30-12-2022 under category no 609/2022. Candidates who are interested in working as an Non Vocational Teacher Mathematics (Senior) (Special Recruitment for SC/ST) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹55200 - 115300 /-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 01-02-2023.

Note: The above Vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the
Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of
three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list after the expiry
of the minimum period of one year is published for this post under the same method of
appointment. Advices for appointment will be made for the above vacancy and also for the
vacancies reported for Special Recruitment from Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe during the
pendency of the list. Vacancy of the above post reported exclusively for Scheduled Tribes will
also be advised from this list and only in the absence of Scheduled Tribe candidates in this list,
fresh notification for ‘Scheduled Tribes’ will be issued for such vacancies. |

| Age Limit | 23-45
Only Candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.1999 (both
dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. No other age
relaxation will be allowed.
Note:- In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed up
to 50 years. But, in no case, the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years. |
| Qualifications | 1) (i) Master’s Degree in Mathematics with not less than 45% marks awarded by any of the
Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.
2) (i) B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the
Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent there to by a University in
Kerala.
(ii) In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed. Degree in the
concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala.
(iii) In the absence of persons with B.Ed Degree as specified in items 2 (i) and 2 (ii) above,
persons with B.Ed Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of
the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the
Universities in Kerala.
3) (i) Must have passed the State Eligibility Test in the concerned subject for the post of Non
Vocational Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by
the State Government.
Note:- Persons who have acquired M.Ed in the concerned subject recognized by any university in Kerala
are exempted from B.Ed qualification |
