The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Assistant Engineer in Kerala Water Authority exam on 31-12-2025 under category no 706/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Assistant Engineer in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 53,900-1,18,100/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 04-02-2026.

Age Limit

18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Usual age relaxation to OBC and SC/ST candidates.

Qualifications

B.Tech Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or equivalent from UGC recognized University / National Institutes established by the Central Government or Institution established by Government of Kerala.
OR Pass in Sections A&B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Civil / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering.

Notes

Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
4% vacancies of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide G.O.(P) No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023.
Provisional hands working in the concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service subject to a maximum of five years, provided they were within the prescribed age limit on the date of their first appointment.
The Ranked List shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years.
The probation period is applicable as per the provisions of the Special Rules of the Kerala Water Authority.
Equivalent/higher qualifications approved by Government orders declaring them as such shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
