The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Beat Forest Officer in Forest and Wildlife exam on 31-07-2025 under category no 211/2025, 212/2025, 213/2025, 214/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Beat Forest Officer in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 27,900- 63,700/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 03-09-2025.

Age Limit

Direct Recruitment: 19-30 (Only candidates born between 02.01.1995 and 01.01.2006 included) with usual relaxation. By Transfer: Age limit is not applicable.

Qualifications

Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or equivalent.
Physical Standards (Male): Height – 168 cms (160 for SC/ST), Chest – 81 cms with 5 cm expansion.
Physical Standards (Female): Height – 157 cms (150 for SC/ST).
Must pass Physical Efficiency Test (qualifying in at least 5 out of 8/9 specified events) and Endurance Test (2 km run).
Medical Standards: Perfect hearing and vision (Distant: 6/6 Snellen, Near: 0.5 Snellen) without glasses.

Notes

Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply for the post.
Separate ranked lists will be prepared for each District.
Candidates appointed by transfer shall undergo training for one year in a forest training school.
Probation: Two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
