The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Chief ( Plan Co-ordination Division) in Kerala State Planning Board exam on 30-12-2022 under category no 658/2022. Candidates who are interested in working as an Chief ( Plan Co-ordination Division) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 1,23,700 – 1,66,800/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 01-02-2023.

The Ranked list published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a
minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication
of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years
whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the aforesaid vacancy and
also against the vacancies that may be reported to the Commission during the period of currency of
the list.

Age Limit

35-46. Only candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.1987
(both dates included) are eligible to apply.(For other conditions
regarding age relaxations, please see para (2) of Part II General
Conditions of the Gazette notification).
Note :- 1) Candidates belonging to scheduled Castes / Scheduled
Tribes and Other backward Communities and not already in the service
of the Government shall be eligible for age relaxation as provided in
sub rule ( c) of Rule 10 of Part II of Kerala State and Subordinate
Service Rules 1958 subject to the specific condition that the upper age
limit shall in no case exceed fifty years
2) The upper age limit for recruitment to the post shall in the case of
any candidate already in the State Planning Board including the
candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC be 50 years.

Qualifications

1) a) Doctorate in Economics or Statistics of a recognized University or
Institution and four years experience in Economics or Statistical
Work (Theoretical or Applied) either in Government Institutions,
recognized Universities or other recognized Institutions.
OR
b) A Second Class Masters Degree in Economics or statistics of a
recognized University or Institution and seven years experience in
Economics or Statistical work (Theoretical or Applied) either in
Government departments or recognized Universities or other
recognized Institutions.
OR
c) A Second Class Masters Degree in Mathematics or Commerce of a
recognized University or Institution and seven years experience in
Economics or Statistical work (Theoretical or Applied) either in
Government departments or recognized Universities or other
recognized Institutions.
