Designer – Archaeology – 270/2025

The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Designer in Archaeology exam on 30-08-2025 under category no 270/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Designer in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 39,300 - 83,000/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 03-10-2025.

Age Limit

18-36; [Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates.

Qualifications

Pass in S S L C or its equivalent
Pass in certificate course in painting or drawing course
Preferential :- Certificate in Land Survey and Draughtsmanship

Notes

Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post shall also be sufficient.
The Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by the Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the condition laid down in G.O.(M.S)No.526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services.
Every person appointed shall undergo such training as may be prescribed from time to time.
Probation: Every person appointed to this post shall be on probation from the date on which he joins duty, for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
