The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of High School Teacher (Social Science) Malayalam Medium in Education exam on 15-09-2025 under category no 385/2025. Age Limit	18-40; Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to SC/ST and other Backward communities.
Qualifications	A Degree in the concerned subject and B. Ed./ B.T. in the concerned subject both conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET Category III) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.
Notes	Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible differently abled candidates with disabilities as specified by G.O.(P.)No. 5/2023/S.J.D. Dated 01.10.2023. Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects or M.Ed are exempted from acquiring K-TET. Preference will be given as laid down in G.O.(MS) No. 50/70/PD dated 12.02.1970 to the wives of Jawans. First Class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment as Teachers.
