The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of III Grade Overseer (Civil) in Public Works exam on 31-07-2025 under category no 222/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an III Grade Overseer (Civil) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 26,500-60,700/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. Age Limit	18-41; Only Candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years.
Qualifications	Pass in SSLC examination or its equivalent qualification Lower Grade Drawing Group Certificate KGTE or its equivalent Second Grade Certificates secured by Draftsman (civil) Trainees under T.T Scheme, College of Engineering or under Industrial Training Centre conducted by the Ministry of Labour Govt. of India, after a course of 18 months Building Drawing and Estimating (Higher or Lower) KGTE or equivalent and any two of the other Civil Engineering Subjects under KGTE or equivalent Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 years course) of the women polytechnics of the State Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering awarded by the Rural Institute, Thavanur Vocational Higher Secondary Course Certificate in Draftsmanship and Quantity Surveying Vocational Higher Secondary Course Certificate in Building Technology
Notes	Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post shall also be sufficient. The Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by the Parliament/State Legislative Assembly are acceptable for appointment in Government Services.
