The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Junior Health Inspector Grade II in Health Services exam on under category no 36/2026. Candidates who are interested in working as an Junior Health Inspector Grade II in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 31,100 - 66,800/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 01-07-2026.

Age Limit

18-45; Only candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) are eligible. In the absence of qualified candidates within the prescribed age limit, upper age limit may be relaxed up to 50 years, but shall not exceed 50 years.

Qualifications

Pass in Plus Two with Science subjects or equivalent examination from a recognized institution
Diploma in Health Inspector Course conducted by the Director of Health Services or any other institution recognized by the Government of Kerala
Registration with Kerala Paramedical Council

Notes

Applications are invited only from Scheduled Tribe candidates of Kerala State.
Applications from candidates other than Scheduled Tribe candidates will be rejected.
Selection is district-wise (Alappuzha District).
Candidates advised for appointment in one district are not eligible for transfer to another district before completing five years of continuous service.
Headquarters vacancies will also be filled from the district-wise ranked list.
Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.
Equivalent and higher qualifications recognized by Government orders shall also be accepted.
Probation: Two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
Ranked list will remain in force for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years.
