The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of L.D. Typist/Clerk Typist/Typist Clerk (Ex-Servicemen Only) in N.C.C./Sainik Welfare exam on 30-08-2025 under category no 353/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an L.D. Typist/Clerk Typist/Typist Clerk (Ex-Servicemen Only) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹26,500 – 60,700/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 03-10-2025.

Qualifications	Pass in SSLC or its equivalent Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting Malayalam (KGTE) or its equivalent (not compulsory for Ex-servicemen who have completed normal tenure of service; must be acquired before completing probation if selected) Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting English (KGTE) and Computer Word Processing or its equivalent (IMC certificate not accepted; those who passed KGTE Typewriting English before January 2002 must have separate Computer Word Processing certificate) All qualifications must be acquired on or before the last date of receipt of application Discharge certificate to prove Ex-Servicemen status to be produced when called by Commission
Notes	This is the Second NCA Notification for Kottayam district. First NCA notification was Cat. No. 780/2021 dated 31.12.2021. Mother Ranked List: Category No. 282/2018, published on 23.02.2021 for Kottayam district. Ex-servicemen in Class I category (Army Clerk, Navy Writer, Air Force Clerk with 15+ years clerical service) are treated as having Lower Grade Typewriting English (KGTE) qualification. Candidates already holding this post in any district are prohibited from applying. Transfer after 5 years subject to G.O.(P) No. 36/91/P&ARD dated 02.12.1991. Inter-departmental transfer not eligible as per G.O.(P) 51/90/P&ARD dated 22.11.1990. Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
