Part Time High School Teacher (Arabic) – Education – 356/2025

The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Part Time High School Teacher (Arabic) in Education exam on 30-08-2025 under category no 356/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Part Time High School Teacher (Arabic) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹26,500 – 60,700/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 03-10-2025.

Method of appointment	Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community only). In the absence of SC candidates, Scheduled Tribe candidates will be considered.
Age Limit	18-45; Candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included). Maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years.
Qualifications	A Degree in Arabic OR a degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under Pattern II of Part III, AND B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala; OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded/recognised by Universities in Kerala (declared equivalent to Part III of Degree) AND Certificate in Language Teacher’s Training from Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala Must have passed Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET, Category III) Post Graduates in Arabic with B.Ed/B.T/L.T are also eligible B.Ed must be in the concerned language (Arabic) BA (Arabic and Islamic History) double main degree from Calicut University is also eligible (G.O.(MS) No.114/18/G.Edn dated 16.08.2018)
Notes	This is the Eighth NCA Notification for Kannur district. Previous NCA notifications: Cat. No. 469/2015, 326/2016, 666/2017, 613/2019, 180/2022, 049/2023, 309/2024. Mother Ranked List: Category No. 340/2009, published on 27.09.2013 for Kannur district. Only Scheduled Caste community candidates shall apply. KTET exemption: Candidates with CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in respective subjects or M.Ed in any subject are exempted from KTET. CTET (Primary/Elementary Stage) not accepted as alternative for KTET Cat. III. Special concessions: Wives of Jawans, First Class Scouts and Guides, and graduate teachers of Govt. Primary/Nursery Schools are eligible for preferences/age relaxations. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10a(ii) is applicable.
