The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Woman Fire & Rescue Officer (Trainee) in Fire and Rescue Services exam on 15-09-2025 under category no 375/2025. Age Limit

18-31; Only candidates born between 02.01.1994 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible. Other conditions regarding age relaxation are not applicable.

Qualifications

Pass in Plus Two or its equivalent.
Diploma in Computer Application (Preferential).
Physical Qualification: Height (Bare Foot) – 150 cms.
Must have proficiency in swimming: (i) 50 m swimming trial to be completed within two minutes 15 seconds. (ii) Two minutes floating ability at the deeper side of the swimming pool.
Visual Standards without glasses: Distant vision 6/6 snellen, Near vision 0.5 snellen (Right and Left eye), Field of Vision Full.

Notes

Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable.
Differently abled candidates and male candidates are not eligible to apply.
Candidates must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in the physical efficiency test of National One Star standard.
Selected candidates shall execute a bond to serve in the force for a minimum period of 7 years after completion of training.
Probation: Two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
Training: 6 months in State Fire Service Training School followed by 6 months practical training at a Fire Station.
