The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Assistant Professor in Nursing in Medical Education exam on 30-12-2022 under category no 567/2022. Candidates who are interested in working as an Assistant Professor in Nursing in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of As per UGC norms, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 01-02-2023.

Age Limit

22-41;[Only candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2000(both
dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward
Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age
relaxation .

Qualifications

1.M.Sc. Degree in Nursing from any University which is recognized by
Kerala Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
2.Permanent Registration with the Nursing Council (Those who have
not registered with Kerala Nursing Council are also eligible provided
they obtain registration from Kerala Nursing Council before
appointment.
Note II :
(1) KS &SSR Part -II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable.
(2) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the
qualifications recognized by executive orders, or standing orders of
Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the
Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the
acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also
be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring
equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required
by the Commission.
