The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Architectural Draftsman Gr III in Public Works Department (Architectural Wing) exam on 30-04-2025 under category no 56/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Architectural Draftsman Gr III in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 19,000-43,600/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 04-06-2025.

Method of appointment

Direct Recruitment from the candidates belonging to the LC/AI community.

Age Limit

18-39; Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) including LC/AI community relaxation.

Qualifications

Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship awarded by the Industrial Training Centres of the Government of Kerala (Two-year course with training).
OR National Trade Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship with training awarded by the NCVT or its equivalent.
Proficiency in Computer drafting in AutoCAD level 1 & 2 or equivalent software.
One year computer aided building drafting experience under a Registered Architect or Civil Engineering Firm.

Notes

Proficiency in CAD to be proved by practical test conducted by KPSC.
Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable.
Candidates must produce equivalency order for equivalent qualifications, if claimed.
Any difference in community/caste between application and SSLC must be supported with Gazette notification and Non Creamy Layer Certificate.
