The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Woman Fire & Rescue Officer (Trainee) in Fire and Rescue Services exam on 31-07-2025 under category no 215/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Woman Fire & Rescue Officer (Trainee) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 27,900-63,700, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 03-09-2025.

Age Limit

18-26; Only candidates born between 02.01.1999 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible with usual relaxation to Other Backward Communities, Scheduled Castes converts and SC/ST candidates.

Qualifications

Pass in Plus Two or its equivalent.
Preferential: Diploma in Computer Application
Physical Standard: Height (bare foot) 152 cms (150 cms for SC/ST candidates).
Proficiency in swimming: (i) 50 M swimming trial within 2 minutes 15 seconds. (ii) Two minutes floating ability at the deeper side of the swimming pool.
Visual Standards (without glasses): Distant vision 6/6 snellen, Near vision 0.5 snellen, Field of vision: Full.
Must pass Physical Efficiency Test (qualifying in at least 5 out of 8 specified items).

Notes

Men and Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply.
Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
Equivalent/higher qualifications as per government orders will also be considered.
Candidates must execute a bond to serve for a minimum period of 7 years and to pay Rs. 50,000/- in case of failure to serve.
Weightage marks for NCC Cadets, meritorious sports persons, and Students Police Cadet (SPC) certificate holders.
The probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
