The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher - Mathematics (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribe Only) in Kerala Higher Secondary Education exam on 31-07-2025 under category no 219/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Higher Secondary School Teacher - Mathematics (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribe Only) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 55,200-1,15,300/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. Age Limit	20-45. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible. No other age relaxation is applicable. (Upper age limit relaxed up to 50 years in the absence of qualified candidates).
Qualifications	Masters Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a Qualification recognised as equivalent thereto. B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study OR M.Sc.Ed in the concerned subject with not less than 45 percentage of marks from any of the Regional Institutes of Education (NCERT). Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher.
Notes	Persons who have acquired M.Ed in the subject concerned recognized by any university in Kerala are exempted from B.Ed qualification. Weightage marks for non-qualifying degrees (Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship) will be awarded for ranking. Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post. Applications received from candidates other than Scheduled Tribe will be rejected.
