| Notes | This is a State Wide Special Recruitment exclusively for SC/ST candidates. Ranked List shall remain in force for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. Vacancies reported exclusively for Scheduled Tribes will also be advised from this list; only in the absence of ST candidates will a fresh notification for Scheduled Tribes be issued. Every person appointed shall undergo in-service training for 6 months in IMG and 6 months in an institution decided by the State Police Chief. Training period counts toward probation. Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining training. Every person appointed shall pass the Account Test (Higher), Test on Manual of Office Procedure (Police), and Test on Kerala Police Manual during probation. Appointing authority is the Government. Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Paragraphs 2, 3, and 25 (except conditions under Rule 3(c) of Part II of KS & SSR) of General Conditions are not applicable to this selection. Equivalent/higher qualifications approved by Government executive orders or standing orders will also be considered. |
