18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to SC/ST and OBC candidates.

A pass in Std. VII or equivalent qualification.
Must possess current motor driving license to drive LMV and HMV with Driver’s Badge. HMV Driving license shall be of at least 3 (three) years standing and in the case of driving license issued after 16.01.1979 separate endorsement to drive heavy duty goods vehicles and heavy duty passenger vehicles.
License to drive excavators and 3 (three) years experience in operating excavators involving road/earth work in a Government / Quasi Government or a Public / Registered Private Sector Undertaking or in a Government recognised firm.
Medical Fitness Standards: Distant Vision – 6/6 snellen, Near Vision – 0.5 snellen, Colour Vision – Normal, Night Blindness – Nil. Muscles & Joints – No paralysis and all joints with free movements. Nervous System – Perfectly normal, free from any infectious diseases.

Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
The driving license shall be valid not only at the time of application but also at each stage of selection.
Proficiency in driving Heavy duty vehicles is to be proved by practical test conducted by the KPSC during the course of selection.
Medical Fitness shall be proved by a proper medical certificate obtained from a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon.
Differently Abled Persons are not eligible to apply for the post.
The Experience should be the one acquired after the acquisition of the basic academic qualifications for the post.
Provisional hands working in the above concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service subject to a maximum of five years.
