| Qualifications | - 1) A Pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent 2) A Certificate of succcessful Completion of Nursery Training issued by the Kerala Government or the former Travancore – Cochin Government or the former Travancore or Cochin Government. OR Nursery Training Certificate issued by the State Council for Child Welfare. OR Balasevika Training certificate issued by the State Council for Child Welfare. OR Pre- Primary Teachers Training Certificate issued by the commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. Preference will be given to TTC or TSLC holders with any of the above Qualifications. |
| Notes | (ii) A Ranked List will be prepared for Kasaragod district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked list thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against the aforesaid vacancy and also against the vacancies, if any, reported during the currency of the list. (iii) Candidates should submit their application for this post to Kasaragod district and should note the name of that District against the relevant column in the online application. (iv) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List so prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if, transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the orders contained in G.O(MS) No. 4/61/PD, dated 02.1.1961. But as per G.O.(P) No. 12/96/P&ARD dated 16.03.1996 the condition of five years service is not applicable for transfer to the districts Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And these concession will be granted only once in the career of a Govt. Servant. (v) In the case of candidates applying for district wise selections in Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod districts working arrangement, deputation, transfer and mutual transfer will not be allowed for at least ten years, if they are appointed from the ranked lists of those districts. Their promotion will also be limited to those districts (subject to the condition that post/vacancy exist in the district, along with the willingess). (G.O (Ms) No. 6/2026/P&ARD dated 22.01.2026). (vi) Candidates already in Government service, holding the post in any one district are restricted from applying for the same post in another district. But they can apply for higher posts when notified. For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the NOTE:- Persons with the academic qualifications of a pass in SSLC with first language Kannada in addition to the other prescribed qualifications for the category will only be appointed.
