| Notes | Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates must possess a valid driving licence throughout all stages of selection including application, OMR test and interview. Minimum Physical Standards: Male - Height 165 cm, Chest 81 cm with 5 cm expansion; Female - Height 152 cm. SC/ST candidates: Minimum Height 160 cm (Male) and 150 cm (Female). Vision Standard without glasses: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen and Near Vision 0.5 Snellen in both eyes. Colour blindness, squint or any morbid condition of the eyes/lids is a disqualification. Medical certificate from a Government Ophthalmologist (not below Assistant Surgeon rank) is required. Probation: Two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Training: 10 months as per schedule notified by the Transport Commissioner. Extra marks are awarded to meritorious sports persons as per General Conditions. |
