The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Beat Forest Officer in Forest and Wildlife exam on 31-07-2025 under category no 250/2025 – 257/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Beat Forest Officer in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 27,900-63,700/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. Age Limit

SC/ST: 19-35 (born 02.01.1990 to 01.01.2006); Other communities: 19-33 (born 02.01.1992 to 01.01.2006). Maximum age with relaxation 50 years.

Qualifications

Pass in Plus Two Examination or equivalent (SSLC for those in service before 30.08.2010).
Physical Standards (Male): Height – 168 cms (160 for SC/ST), Chest – 81 cms with 5 cm expansion.
Physical Standards (Female): Height – 157 cms (150 for SC/ST).
Must pass Physical Efficiency Test (qualifying in at least 5 out of 8 items for men or 5 out of 9 for women).
Medical Standards: Perfect hearing and specific visual standards (6/6 snellen distant, 0.5 snellen near) without glasses.

Notes

Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
Differently Abled candidates are not eligible.
Candidates must undergo training for one year in any of the forest training schools.
Probation: Two years on duty within a continuous service of three years.
