The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Beat Forest Officer in Forest and Wildlife exam on 30-10-2025 under category no 431/2025-434/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Beat Forest Officer in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of 27,900-63,700/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 03-12-2025.

Age Limit

19-33, ie; Candidates born between 02.01.1992 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation in Para2(i) of the General conditions)

Qualifications

Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or Equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala.
Male Physical Standards: Height-Minimum 168 cms, Chest-Minimum 81cms with 5 cms expansion.
Female Physical Standards: Height-Minimum 157 cms.
Physical Efficiency Test: Must qualify in 5 out of 8 events (Male) or 5 out of 9 events (Female) of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test.
Endurance Test: 2 Kilometers run in 13 minutes (Male) or 15 minutes (Female).
Medical Standards: Perfect hearing, visual standards of 6/6 Snellen (Distant) and 0.5 Snellen (Near) without glasses, normal color vision, and free from physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, etc.

Notes

Differently Abled Candidates are not eligible to apply for this post.
Candidates are prohibited from applying to more than one District in response to this notification.
KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by Executive orders or standing orders of Government shall also be sufficient.
Candidates who are appointed shall undergo training for one year in any of the forest training schools.
Candidates having ‘A’, ‘B’ & ‘C’ certificate of NCC or Student Police Cadet (SPC) Certificate will be given weightage marks.
