The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Binder in Government Secretariat/ Kerala Public Service Commission/ Kerala State Audit Department/ Kerala Legislature Secretariat/ Advocate General's Office exam on 31-12-2025 under category no 736/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Binder in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 26,500-60,700/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 04-02-2026.

Age Limit

18 – 39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2007 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation.

Qualifications

Pass in SSLC or its equivalent examination.
NCVT Certificate in Book Binding; OR Pass in Kerala Government Technical Examination in Book Binding (Lower); OR MGTE (Lower)

Notes

Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable.
In the absence of candidates possessing the above qualification, persons having 18 months experience in Book Binding shall be considered, provided they prove their proficiency in a practical test to be conducted by the Public Service Commission.
4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide G.O.(P) No. 5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023.
Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post shall also be sufficient.
