The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Cath Lab Technician Grade II in Health Services Department exam on under category no 29/2026. Candidates who are interested in working as an Cath Lab Technician Grade II in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 31,100 - 66,800/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. Age Limit

18-40; Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation applicable to OBC and SC/ST candidates.

Qualifications

Plus Two (Science) or equivalent qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology from an NMC recognized University, National Institute under Government of India, Institution under Government of Kerala, or any institution recognized by the National Medical Commission
OR Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology conducted by the Director of Medical Education/Medical College/NMC recognized Institution OR Diploma in Cath Lab Technology conducted by Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology
One year experience as Cath Lab Technician in Central/State Government institutions, Defence establishments, Railways, ESI Hospitals, or Autonomous Institutions under Central/State Government
Registration with Kerala Paramedical Council

Notes

Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.
Equivalent qualifications and higher qualifications recognized by Government orders shall be accepted.
Candidates claiming experience must upload scanned copies of experience certificates while applying and produce originals when required.
Experience certificates are subject to verification and legal action will be taken against candidates producing false certificates.
Probation: Two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
The ranked list will remain in force for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years.
