18-50; Only candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) are eligible. The maximum upper age limit shall not exceed 50 years. General age relaxation provisions are not applicable.

B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Degree of a recognized university or its equivalent qualification
For persons appointed prior to 02.09.1991, SSLC is sufficient
Pass in Typewriting and Shorthand (English & Malayalam) Lower (KGTE/MGTE) or any other qualification recognized by Government as equivalent

Recruitment is exclusively from among lower grade employees working in Kerala Live Stock Development Board Ltd.
25% of vacancies arising in the cadre are reserved for regular employees holding low-paid posts under the purview of the Commission who secure 40% marks in the competitive test conducted for direct recruitment.
Candidates securing 40% marks will be included in the ranked list and advised for by-transfer appointment.
Rules of reservation and rotation under Rules 14 to 17 of Part II of KS&SSR are not applicable to this by-transfer recruitment.
In the absence of eligible hands for by-transfer appointment, the posts will be filled through direct recruitment.
Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
Equivalent qualifications recognized by Government orders and higher qualifications that presuppose the prescribed lower qualification will also be accepted subject to the conditions in the notification.
Candidates must satisfy the service and lower-grade eligibility conditions prescribed for by-transfer recruitment.
The ranked list will remain in force for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years, subject to publication of a new ranked list.
