The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Trainee) in Kerala Police Service exam on 06-08-2025 under category no 265/2025. Age Limit

20-36. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.

Qualifications

Degree in any discipline from a UGC recognized University or National Institute established by the Government of India or Institution established by the Government of Kerala or its equivalent qualification.
Must be physically fit. Candidates should possess minimum physical standards: For male candidates – Height: not less than 160 cm, Chest: 81 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm. For female candidates – Height: not less than 155 cm.
Standard of Vision (without glasses): Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (both eyes), Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (both eyes). Each eye must have a full field of vision.
Must qualify in atleast five out of eight events for One Star Standard Tests (Physical Efficiency Test).

Notes

Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply for the post.
Selected candidates will undergo basic training of 1 year and practical training of 1 year. Trainees shall be paid stipend as prescribed by the Government.
Candidates shall execute a bond to the effect that they will serve Kerala Police for a continuous period of 5 years after completion of training, failing which they will have to remit an amount of Rs.1,00,000/-.
