The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Fire and Rescue Officer (Driver) (Trainee) in Fire and Rescue Services exam on 30-12-2022 under category no 615/2022. Candidates who are interested in working as an Fire and Rescue Officer (Driver) (Trainee) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 27,900 – 63,700/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 01-02-2023.

Age Limit

18-31. Candidates born between 02.01.1991
and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible
to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation
as provided under Sub rule(c) of the Rule 10 of
the general rules. Other conditions regarding age
relaxation are not applicable to these posts)

Qualifications

(a) Must have passed Plus Two or its equivalent examination.

Note: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.

ii) Must possess valid current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving heavy goods
vehicle or heavy passenger vehicle with badge.
Note: Candidates shall possess a current valid Driving Licence throughout all the stages of
selection process, ie as on the last date of application, OMR Test, Practical Test, Physical
Efficiency Test and Interview etc.

Preferential: Diploma in Computer Application
Note:
(i) In addition to the qualification specified in the Notification, the qualification declared by
Government through executive orders or standing orders, as equivalent to the prescribed
educational qualification and the higher qualifications of the notified and prescribed basic
qualifications shall be accepted. The Government Order regarding the equivalent
qualification/higher qualification shall be produced as and when called for by the Commission.
