| Qualifications | Pass in SSLC or its equivalent. Government approved 2 year National/State Trade Certificate in Electrician/Wireman. Minimum height: Male - 157.48 cm, Female - 144.78 cm. Vision: Normal (free from colour blindness). Physically fit for outdoor work. Must be able to climb and descend a 9m electric pole within 8 minutes (tested in practical test). |
| Notes | Selection is district-wise; candidates can apply to only one district. Ranked list will be valid for 1 to 3 years. Transfer between districts is restricted (5 years minimum; 10 years for Idukki, Wayanad, Kasargod). 4% reservation for Differently Abled candidates as per GO(Rt) No.136/2025/SJD. Rule 10(a)(ii) of KS & SSR Part II is applicable. Equivalent/higher qualifications approved by Government orders will also be considered. No application fee is required. |
