The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Electricity Worker in Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd. exam on under category no 21/2026. Candidates who are interested in working as an Electricity Worker in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹24,400 – 43,600/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 03-06-2026.

Age Limit	18-40; Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates. Maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years.
Qualifications	Pass in SSLC or its equivalent. Government approved 2 year National/State Trade Certificate in Electrician/Wireman. Minimum height: Male – 157.48 cm, Female – 144.78 cm. Vision: Normal (free from colour blindness). Physically fit for outdoor work. Must be able to climb and descend a 9m electric pole within 8 minutes (tested in practical test).
Notes	Selection is district-wise; candidates can apply to only one district. Ranked list will be valid for 1 to 3 years. Transfer between districts is restricted (5 years minimum; 10 years for Idukki, Wayanad, Kasargod). 4% reservation for Differently Abled candidates as per GO(Rt) No.136/2025/SJD. Rule 10(a)(ii) of KS & SSR Part II is applicable. Equivalent/higher qualifications approved by Government orders will also be considered. No application fee is required.
