Candidates who are interested in working as an Fisheries Extension Officer in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹50,200-1,05,300/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 05-08-2026.

| Notes | 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified in G.O.(P) No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to the prescribed qualification, and higher qualifications that presuppose the prescribed lower qualification, will also be accepted subject to the conditions in the notification. Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC-approved Universities or institutions established through an Act of Parliament/State Legislature are acceptable subject to the conditions specified in the notification. Every person appointed shall be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. During probation, the appointee must pass the Account Test for Executive Officers or Account Test (Lower or Higher), unless already passed. A pass in the Staff Training Course conducted by the Director of Fisheries is necessary. No application fee is required. The ranked list will remain in force for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years, subject to the conditions specified in the notification. |
