High School Teacher (Arabic) – Education – 384/2025

The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of High School Teacher (Arabic) in Education exam on 15-10-2025 under category no 384/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an High School Teacher (Arabic) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 41,300 - 87,000/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 19-11-2025.

Age Limit

18-40; Only Candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2007 (Both dates included) are eligible. Usual relaxation to SC/ST and other Backward communities applies.

Qualifications

A Degree in Arabic or a degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part III and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala.
OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teacher’s Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.
Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET Category III).

Notes

Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects/M.Ed. are exempted from acquiring KTET.
BEd should be in the concerned language Arabic.
Preference will be given as laid down in G.O.(MS) No. 50/70/PD dated 12.02.1970 to the wives of Jawans.
First Class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment as Teachers.
Laboratory Attenders in the departmental High Schools who have rendered at least 5 years satisfactory service will be exempted from the age limit.
Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.
