The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher in Gandhian Studies in Kerala Higher Secondary Education exam on 30-08-2025 under category no 310/2025. Age Limit

20-43; Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2005 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or equivalent
B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or equivalent
Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher

Notes

Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
In the absence of B.Ed Degree holders, candidates with Master’s Degree (50% marks) and SET will be considered, but must acquire B.Ed within five years.
Exemptions from SET include SLET, NET/JRF, Ph.D/M.Phil/M.Ed in the concerned subject, or 10 years of approved teaching service at High School level.
Preference will be given to those who have acquired Ph.D/M.Phil degree or qualified at JRF/NET.
