The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher - Statistics in Kerala Higher Secondary Education exam on 30-10-2025 under category no 426/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Higher Secondary School Teacher - Statistics in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 55,200 - 1,15,300/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 03-12-2025.

Age Limit

20-45; Only Candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible. In no case shall the maximum age limit exceed 50 years.

Qualifications

Masters Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a Qualification recognised as equivalent thereto.
B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala.

Notes

Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
In the absence of B.Ed. Degree holders, candidates having Master’s Degree with not less than 45% marks and who have passed the SET will be considered, provided they acquire B.Ed. within five years.
Exemptions from SET apply to those who have passed SLET, NET, or hold a Ph.D/M.Phil/M.Ed degree in the concerned subject.
Teachers who have completed 10 years of approved teaching service at the High School level are also exempted from SET.
