Age Limit	18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation.
Qualifications	ITI Certificate in Fitter/Machinist or VHSE Certificate in the equivalent trade. Two years experience in the mechanical field from a firm registered under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act 1969, The Societies Registration Act 1860, The Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955, The Companies Act 1956, or any Institution or Firm or Company which has a legal entity under any law in India or abroad or SSI Units registered with the Industrial Development Commissioner or Industrial Institutions wherein Government has investments.
Notes	Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Provisional hands working in the above concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service put in subject to a maximum of five years from the upper age limit. Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post shall also be sufficient. The Experience should be the one acquired after the acquisition of the basic academic qualifications for the post. The Ranked list shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. Probation: Two years duty within a continuous period of three years.
