The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of PD Teacher (Male Only) in Prisons and Correctional Services exam on 31-12-2025 under category no 731/2025. Age Limit	18 – 39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities.
Qualifications	A pass in SSLC or equivalent examination T.T.C or equivalent examination
Notes	Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. Only Male candidates are eligible to apply for this post. Four Percentage (4%) of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates as specified vide GO(P)No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post shall also be sufficient. Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an Act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. Ranked list shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Probation: Every person appointed to this post shall be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
