The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Refrigeration Mechanic (HER) in Health Services exam on 28-11-2025 under category no 457/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Refrigeration Mechanic (HER) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 35,600 – 75,400/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. 19-36; Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to SC/ST and OBC.

Qualifications

S.S.L.C
Certificate in Post-Diploma Course in ‘Refrigeration and Air Conditioning’ issued by the Technical Education Department, Government of Kerala with a minimum of 3 years experience in repairs and maintenance of Refrigerators and Air Conditioning equipments in Government/ Quasi Government or a registered private institution OR National Trade Certificate or National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by Government for the trade of ‘Mechanic, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning’ with 5 years experience in repairs and maintenance of Refrigerators and Air Conditioning equipments in Government or Quasi Government or in Registered Private institutions.

Notes

4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled Candidates with disabilities.
Rule 10 a(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by Government orders will also be considered.
