The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Scheduled Castes Development Officer Grade II in Scheduled Castes Development Department exam on under category no 27/2026. Candidates who are interested in working as an Scheduled Castes Development Officer Grade II in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 43,400 - 91,200/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 01-07-2026.

Age Limit

18-40; Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) are eligible with usual relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates.

Qualifications

M.A. or M.Sc. or M.Com or MSW Degree from a recognized University

Notes

Preference will be given to candidates possessing MSW or Post Graduate Degree in Social Welfare, Sociology or Anthropology.
4% vacancies are reserved for Differently Abled candidates as per G.O(P) No.02/2025/SJD dated 31.05.2025.
Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.
Equivalent and higher qualifications recognized by Government orders shall also be accepted.
Selected candidates shall undergo three months training before appointment as Scheduled Castes Development Officer Grade II.
Training period will not count for probation or increment.
Probation: Two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
During probation candidates must pass Manual of Office Procedure, Account Test (Lower) and Hand Book of Scheduled Castes Development Department tests.
