The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Security Officer in Universities in Kerala exam on under category no 38/2026. Candidates who are interested in working as an Security Officer in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 55,200 - 1,15,300/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 01-07-2026.

Qualifications	Degree in any subject from a recognized University Must be an Ex-serviceman who retired from the rank of Captain or from an equivalent rank in the Navy or Air Force
Notes	Applications are invited only from candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava community of Kerala State. This is the Second NCA Notification issued due to non-availability of qualified candidates in the First NCA Notification (Category No. 402/2024). Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply. Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. Equivalent qualifications and higher qualifications recognized by Government Orders will also be accepted. Candidates must produce Government Orders regarding equivalency/higher qualifications when required. Probation: Two years on duty within a continuous period of three years and departmental test must be passed during probation. The ranked list will remain in force until the NCA vacancy earmarked for Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava community is filled.
