Age Limit

18 – 36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible for the post with usual age relaxation. (Upper age limit is 50 years for officers of Technical Education Department).

Qualifications

A pass in Technical High School Leaving Certificate Examination with specialization in the appropriate Trade.
OR
(i) Pass in Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination or Equivalent.
(ii) National Trade Certificate in the appropriate Trade/ Pass in Kerala Government Certificate in Engineering Examination in the appropriate Trade/ Pass in Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate Course in the appropriate Trade.

Notes

Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS &SSR is applicable.
Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order/ equivalency certificate.
Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government shall also be sufficient for the post.
The Degrees/ Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an Act passed by Parliament/ State Legislative Assembly are acceptable.
