| Qualifications | ITI Certificate in Welding or Equivalent Certificate in VHSE Three years experience in quality welding jobs such as high pressure process equipments, piping, pressure vessels, critical component etc. in a firm registered under Co-operative Societies Act 1969, The Societies Registration Act 1860, The Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955, The Companies Act 1956, or any Institution or Firm or Company which has a legal entity under any law in India or abroad or SSI Units registered with the Industrial Development Commissioner or Industrial Institutions wherein Government have investments from Central or State Government Service or in Public Sector Undertaking or Registered Private Sector Undertaking. Welder performance test qualification under ASME Section IX and IBR Test conducted by the concerned authorities. |
| Notes | Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 3% vacancies for the post shall be reserved for the Differently Abled candidates as per G O. (P) No. 1/13/SJD dated 03.01.2013 Provisional hands working in the above concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service put in subject to a maximum of five years from the upper age limit. Ranked list published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. Experience should be the one acquired after the acquisition of the basic academic qualifications for the post. Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post shall also be sufficient.
