The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Women Civil Excise Officer (Trainee) in Kerala Excise and Prohibition exam on 30-08-2025 under category no 342/2025 - 347/2025. Age Limit	19-34; Candidates born between 02.01.1991 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included). Upper age limit 36 for SC converts to Christianity. Maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years.
Qualifications	Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent Height: Not less than 152 cms Must be certified by a Medical Officer (not below Assistant Surgeon/Junior Consultant rank) as physically fit for active outdoor work Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (both eyes); Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (both eyes) – without glasses Must be free from physical defects: knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands/limbs, irregular/protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing Endurance Test: 2.5 km run within 15 minutes Physical Efficiency Test: Must qualify in any 5 out of 8 events (One Star Standard) – 100m Run (17 sec), High Jump (1.06 m), Long Jump (3.05 m), Shot Put 4kg (4.88 m), 200m Run (36 sec), Throw Ball (14 m), Shuttle Race 4x25m (26 sec), Skipping 1 minute (80 times)
Notes	Male candidates and differently abled candidates are not eligible. NCC ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ Certificate holders get weightage marks of 2%, 3%, 5% respectively as per GO(Ms)No.112/2007/H.Edn dated 21.08.2007. SPC certificate holders will get weightage marks as per GO(Ms)No.06/2025/P&ARD dated 01.03.2025. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any district are prohibited from applying again. Transfer to another district not permitted within 5 years of service commencement. Appointment to substantive post only after successful completion of basic training (minimum 6 months / 180 working days). This is the First NCA Notification due to non-availability of qualified candidates from the mother ranked lists. Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
