| Qualifications | Masters degree in Botany or Zoology with at least 50% marks or its equivalent and good academic records. M.Ed degree with not less than 55% marks with specialization in methods of teaching Natural Science. Three years teaching experience in Schools or Colleges after acquiring the Professional qualifications. Must have passed a comprehensive test specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC (NET) or any agency duly constituted by the State Government in this behalf (SET/SLET). Candidates having Ph. D Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET. |
| Notes | Method of Direct Recruitment will be considered only in the absence of qualified candidates for recruitment by transfer. Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates (for Direct Recruitment Only). Weightage marks will be awarded for non-qualifying degrees: M.Phil (2 marks), Ph.D (4 marks), Both M.Phil & Ph.D (5 marks), or Post Doctoral Fellowship (2 marks). Qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post shall also be sufficient. |
