Age Limit20-50 Only Candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. No other age relaxation will be allowed.
Qualifications1. A Post graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the concerned subject from any of the Universities in Kerala or from any other University recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala
2. Permanent 'A' class Registration with Travancore – Cochin Medical Council (Council of Indigenous Medicine) Note :- 1 Post graduate degree in the concerned subject has been made compulsory for appointment by direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor.
2 If post-graduate holders in the subject concerned are not available, post-graduate qualifications prescribed by Central Council of Indian Medicine shall be admissible for that subject from time to time.
3 Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
4 In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post, in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders recognizing equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
5 If the caste of the candidate is wrongly mentioned in their SSLC book, they should claim their original caste in their applications and should produce community certificate issued from the revenue authority concerned and the Gazette Notification to prove the same at the time of certificate verification.
NotesThe above vacancy is now in existance. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year is published for this post under the same method of appointment. Advice for appointment will be made from the Ranked List published in pursuance of this notification to the above vacancy and also to the vacancies reported further exclusively for Special Recruitment from Scheduled Tribes during the pendency of the list.
Applications received from candidates other than Scheduled Tribe candidates will be rejected.
Individual communications regarding the rejection of their applications for the above reason will not be issued.
