| Qualifications | Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or Equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Male Physical Standards: Height-Minimum 168 cms, Chest-Minimum 81cms with 5 cms expansion. Female Physical Standards: Height-Minimum 157 cms. Physical Efficiency Test: Must qualify in 5 out of 8 events (Male) or 5 out of 9 events (Female) of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test. Endurance Test: 2 Kilometers run in 13 minutes (Male) or 15 minutes (Female). Medical Standards: Perfect hearing, visual standards of 6/6 Snellen (Distant) and 0.5 Snellen (Near) without glasses, normal color vision, and free from physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, etc. |
| Notes | Differently Abled Candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. Candidates are prohibited from applying to more than one District in response to this notification. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by Executive orders or standing orders of Government shall also be sufficient. Candidates who are appointed shall undergo training for one year in any of the forest training schools. Candidates having 'A', 'B' & 'C' certificate of NCC or Student Police Cadet (SPC) Certificate will be given weightage marks. |
