Qualifications-
1 A Pass in SSLC or its equivalent examination.
2 Working Knowledge of both Kannada and Malayalam languages.

1) Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post.
2) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
3) In the case of Candidates advised for the post in the Registration Department,they should also pass handwriting test in Kannada asper G.O (MS)No.68/65 dated 15/01/1965.
4) Candidates should secure a separate minimum of 40% marks each for the Regional languages viz. Kannada and Malayalam in the written test.

Notesiii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for the above district for each community in pursuance of this notification. NCA Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, which remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district.

v) (a) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971.
A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(P)No.36/91/P&ARD dated
02.12.1991 for inter district transfers in same department and G.O(P)No.05/2013/P&ARD dated 06.02.2013 for inter departmental transfers. But as per the G.O.(P)No.12/96 P&ARD dated 16.3.1996 the conditions of 5 years Service is not applicable for transfer to the districts Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. The concession will be available only for getting transfer in to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And these concession will be granted only once in the career of a Govt. Servant.
(b) In the case of candidates applying for districtwise selections in Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod districts Working arrangement, Deputation, Transfer and Mutual Transfer will not be allowed for atleast Ten years, if they are appointed from the ranked lists of those districts. Their promotion will also be limited to those districts (G.O(P)No. 6/2026/P&ARD dated 22.01.2026).
(c) Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
