| Notes | Only men of the said community may apply for this post. Applications submitted by candidates who are not forest-dependent adivasi Scheduled Tribe candidates will be rejected, and no separate rejection memo will be issued. Differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. Issued under G.O (MS) No. 53/2013/F&WLD dated 15.05.2013 and G.O (MS) No. 80/2013/Forest dated 23.08.2013; selection is on a district basis and only candidates from Wayanad district will be considered. Selected candidates will be given three months training at a Forest School or Training Centre. Special weightage: in preparing the ranked list, preference will be given in order to children of unwed mothers and to those serving as temporary watchers in the Forest Department. A separate ranked list will be prepared for Wayanad district, in force for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years.
