| Qualifications | Masters Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a Qualification recognised as equivalent thereto. B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study OR M.Sc.Ed in the concerned subject with not less than 45 percentage of marks from any of the Regional Institutes of Education (NCERT). Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher. |
| Notes | Persons who have acquired M.Ed in the subject concerned recognized by any university in Kerala are exempted from B.Ed qualification. Weightage marks for non-qualifying degrees (Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship) will be awarded for ranking. Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post. Applications received from candidates other than Scheduled Tribe will be rejected. |
