Age Limit19 - 48. Only candidates born between 2.1.1978 and 1.1.2007 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Communities.
Qualifications1. S.S.L.C or its equivalent qualification.
2. (a) National Trade Certificate in the appropriate trade with three years experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate.
OR
(b) National Apprenticeship Certificate in the appropriate trade with one year experience after obtaining the certificate.
OR
(c) Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering from a Government or Government recognized polytechnic or its equivalent qualification.
Link EQUIVALENT/HIGHER QUALIFICATION Note I (i) The experience gained by a Workshop Attender in the trade can also be deemed to be qualifying experience in the trade for selection to this post.
(ii) As per GO (P) No.72/2024/LBR dated 09.10.2024 ,candidates belonging to SC/ST and Differently Abled – Blind (Low Vision) shall be exempted from the qualification of Experience prescribed for the post, where ''Low Vision'' means a condition where a person has any of the following conditions namely:-
a)Visual acuity not exceeding 6/18 or less than 20/60 upto 3/60 or upto 10/200(Snellen )in the better eye with best possible corrections;or b)Limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of less than 40 degree upto 10 degree.
(iii) Low Vision candidates shall be exempted from the qualification of Experience ,provided that they produce a Medical Certificate in the format appended below Annexure I Medical Certificate (Should be certified by an Ophthalmologist in Government Service) This is to certify that I have medically examined Sri, Smt............................son/daughter of …........................Date of Birth................,Age.............years,male/female ...............................................

Affix recent passport size photo of the candidate (The signature of the Medical Officer shall be affixed on the photograph leaving the face clear) Identification Marks:

(ii) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders, or standing orders of Government as equivalent to the qualifications specified for the post, in the Special Rules or qualifications found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the Rules, and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The candidates who submit application claiming equivalent/higher qualifications shall produce Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications as and when required by the Commission.
(iii) Candidates who claim experience qualification 2 (a) or (b) should obtain experience certificate in the format given in Annexure itself and enter details regarding experience (certificate number ,date,name of post,period ,issuing authority,name of institution etc)and upload scanned image of the same in the profile to make submission of application possible.
