Method of appointment

Category No 455/2025: By Transfer Recruitment (From among qualified hands of the Scheduled Caste Development Department). Category No 456/2025: Direct Recruitment (In the absence of qualified hands under by transfer).

Age Limit

By Transfer: Must have completed 18 years as on 01-01-2025. Upper age limit is not applicable. Direct Recruitment: 18-36. Only candidates born between 02-01-1989 and 01-01-2007 (both dates included) are eligible.

Qualifications

Three years Diploma in Engineering in the related trade from Polytechnic approved by the Government of Kerala or its equivalent

Notes

Rule 10 a(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by Government orders will also be considered.
For Direct Recruitment, 4% vacancies are reserved for differently abled candidates.
A candidate appointed to this post shall, during the period of probation, pass the tests: Manual of Office Procedure, Account Test (Lower), and Hand Book of Scheduled Castes Development Department.
