The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) in Kerala State Housing Board exam on under category no 044/2026. Candidates who are interested in working as an Assistant Engineer (Electrical) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹51,400-1,10,300/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 05-08-2026.

Age Limit	18-40; Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) are eligible. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation.
Qualifications	A Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electrical & Electronics) from a UGC recognized university or National Institutes established by the Central Government or institutions established by the Government of Kerala, or its equivalent AMIE (India) Section A & B in Electrical Engineering Associate Membership Diploma of the Institution of Engineers in India in Electrical Engineering or any other Diploma recognized as equivalent thereto Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto
Notes	Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Equivalent qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government, and higher qualifications that presuppose the prescribed lower qualification, will also be accepted subject to the conditions specified in the notification. 4% of the vacancies are reserved for Differently Abled candidates as per G.O.(P)No.13/2024/SJD dated 17.10.2024. Provisional hands working in the Kerala State Housing Board may receive age relaxation based on their provisional service, subject to the conditions and maximum limit specified in the notification. The ranked list will remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years, subject to the conditions specified in the notification. No application fee is required. If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their One Time Registration profile within the prescribed period. Original documents proving qualification, experience, age, community, etc. must be produced when called for by the Commission.
